A building game for 6-9 years old children, featuring inclusive narratives, construction of the private space and sensory stimulation.
End social exclusion through inclusive mediation artifacts during playtime, for all kids despite their individual characteristics, origin or abilities, as well as creating a toy that can be used in Mexican public schools to teach children that playing together, is always be better.
How can toys influence children into playing together? How do we teach kids about inclusion, so they can become better human beings?

Participants: Lead by the Director of Institutional Evaluation and Planning, and the group consisting of the responsible of the Institute of Applied Research and Technology (Iniat), the Head of the Psychology Department, the Head of Chemical Engineering Science Department, the Head of the Architecture and Civil Engineering Department, the former director of Design Department and Education and Design professors, students and researchers.

Built for inclusion
The toy is designed for children with different cognitive or physical disabilities. It’s intended to be INCLUSIVE, USER FRIENDLY, SAFE, ATTRACTIVE and of LIGHT USE for them.
Children can play with this toy in many ways; freely or for educational purposes given its versatility – by adapting the toy’s pieces to different narratives.

The toy has been tested in several schools and disability centers.
It was prototyped with children with vision impairments, and physical and intellectual disabilities.
The results gave us a great understanding of the mechanics of the game, teamwork, cooperation, group integration, and imagination.
